For decades, the historic Larimer Arts Center has been the heart of our community's creative life. Today, we need your help to preserve this treasure and create inspiring spaces for the next generation.
Help us reach our first milestone: $3,000 to paint six classrooms
A treasured landmark in Palatka, Florida, serving our community since 1927

This beautiful Art Deco building has been home to countless performances, exhibitions, and art classes over nearly a century. Today, it needs our help to continue serving future generations.
For decades, the historic Larimer Arts Center has been the heart of our community's creative life. Located at 216 Reid Street in the center of Palatka, this beautiful building has been a home for artists, a classroom for students, and a stage for performers.
Today, our beloved Larimer is in desperate need of our help. As a historic building, it requires constant care and attention. While the Arts Alliance of Putnam County, along with our partners the River City Players and the Gathering Artists of Putnam, are working tirelessly to bring new life and energy to the Larimer, we can't do it alone.
One of the most pressing issues is the lack of accessibility to our second-floor theater. Many members of our community, including those with mobility challenges, are unable to enjoy the wonderful performances and events that take place there. This is something we are determined to change.

We want to start with a simple, achievable goal that will have an immediate and visible impact

Our first step is to raise $3,000 to paint six of our art classrooms. These are the rooms where our children learn to express themselves, where our local artists create their masterpieces, and where our community comes together to learn and grow. A fresh coat of paint will transform these spaces, creating a brighter, more inspiring environment for everyone.
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference in our community
This is just the beginning. Here's our vision for the future of the Larimer Arts Center
We are asking you, our friends, neighbors, and fellow art lovers, to join us in this important work. Your donation, no matter the size, will help us preserve this historic treasure and build a brighter future for the arts in Putnam County.
